The District receives revenues from four primary sources: Sewer service charges, capacity fees, minor operating revenues such as permits, inspections and outside work performed in cooperation with local municipalities, and interest earnings on reserve funds.

Sewer Service Charges
Revenues to operate the District are collected annually from residents and businesses that are connected to the sanitary sewer system. State law requires the District ot establish rates sufficient to cover operating expenses, including interest on debts, and expenses necessary for the replacement or construction of facilities.
